CHCH Book Launch: Meditations of a Landscape Architect

David Irwin, founding principal of Isthmus Group, launches Meditations of a Landscape Architect, a collection of essays and photographs exploring what matters in design and everyday life across four decades of practice. The book examines landscape architecture and urban design through reflections on change, preservation, and the relationship between designed and lived environments.

Irwin has led design leadership on some of Aotearoa's most significant landscape architecture and urban design projects, spanning urban development, town centres, coastal landscapes, and public spaces. This evening brings together his thinking on design practice, inquiry, and the ideas that continue to shape his work.
