Wham Bam Tauranga Poetry Slam

A competitive poetry event where local performers share original work across three rounds, judged by audience vote. The slam celebrates authentic voice, emotion, and audience connection through an exhilarating blend of poetry, performance, theatre, and storytelling.

All styles welcome—sonnets, rap, activism, comedy, and beyond. Registration opens 27 August via the Tauranga Arts Festival website.
